From the Organising Chairman’s Desk …

orgchairmain welcome

As the Organising Chairman, President of Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPI) and Vice President of Asia Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP), I am immensely pleased to inform and invite you to join us for 17th Asia Oceania Congress of Medical Physics (AOCMP 2017) and 38th Annual Conference of Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPICON 2017) being organized at SMS Medical College and Hospitals, Jaipur, “Pink City” from 4th to 7th November 2017.

We are planning a comprehensive scientific programme including orations, talks by eminent speakers, oral papers, posters, panel discussion, workshops and International Day of Medical Physics (IDMP) celebration and much more. The theme for the conference is “Advances in Medical Physics: shaping the future of modern healthcare“. New emerging trends in Medical Physics whether in Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Biophysics, Biomedical engineering or Radiobiology, requires a platform like this to be evaluated, promoted and accepted. This will embody both innovation & integration, to boost advancement in medical physics & healthcare.

We are looking forward for your active participation in the form of quality papers and your warm presence. We request you to kindly send your registration at the earliest so that we plan all the details in advance for your comfortable and fruitful stay in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Jaipur is well connected by road, rail and air with rest of the country. November is peak tourist and wedding season, so please plan your travel well in advance.

Rajasthan is perhaps the most tribally diverse, artistically decorative and architecturally magnificent regal in India. It is the land of royalty with lavish forts and majestic palaces that are apt reminder of a rich and romantic past that speaks of heroism, honor and chivalry. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and cultural hotspot of the region with its colorful vibes and warmness in heart. We suggest you to keep atleast two days spare before or after the conference days for sightseeing while planning your travel.

Once again I invite you all to the city of colors and assure you that your experience of this event will be memorable.

rajasthanoneLooking forward to have you in Jaipur.
